“Monomania - Exaggerated or obsessive enthusiasm for or preoccupation with one thing.”
Huh.

Alright I feel a bit better about rating this one. I feel like there’s enough to go through here that isn’t redone on Teens of Style idkbut even with that, this is a solid album. I don’t think it’s anything close to some of Will’s best work, but it’s still good. I think I enjoy My Back Is Killing Me Baby a bit more, but this still has a lot of great ... read more

"Monomania" is one of their best albums in my opinion. It's emotionally powerful, well-written, the production techniques are a lot better to the point where it succeeds as a lo-fi record and the continuation from "Twin Fantasy" is very admirable.

Fav Tracks: Sleeping With Strangers, Times To Die, Maud Gone, Souls, Los Borrachos (I Don't Have Any Hope Left, But The Weather Is Nice), Overexposed (Enjoy), Romantic Theory

Least Fav Track: Misheard Lyrics (Still love it, ... read more

The lo-fi sound of My Back is Killing Me Baby is still very much there, but seems far more present in the vocals than it does the instrumentals; something I appreciate a lot. I think by developing the instrumentals a bit ... read more
