Boris Kick Ass

In preparation for Love and Evol and the Akuma No Uta re issue,i decided to listen to the critically acclaimed Pink
First time seeing the cover i thought it was some kind of indie rock band but with further research i was proven wrong

I will admit i never listened to Pink up and till this point,only Flood and Feedbacker but this album is a completely different stylistic change
Pink includes elements of Noise Rock and Stoner Rock making this album standout

What an absolute MONSTROUS album this is! From start to end, it holds you in a strong grip under layers and layers of dense guitar riffs and banging drums. This is one of the fiercest albums I've come across, and that probably makes it my favorite metal album to date.

Electrifying, steamrolling, destructive—these are only but a few adjectives that can be used to describe this behemoth of an album in Boris’s discography that combines everything that makes the band so enigmatic and puts them all together. My second favorite Boris album.

This album was mind-blowingly good. Aggressive, heavy, but never out of style.
I purchased the reissue of this record on vinyl, and I gotta say that this record went from a 92 to a perfect metal record and what I'd call a modern classic in the genre. Disregarding all of the bonus tracks that came with it, Pink was one of the best metal and musical experiences I've ever had. The tracks are extended, noisier, and are a lot prettier.
