Wow. I listened to this to prepare for Boris’ album that was being released next month in collaboration with Merzbow and also thought I should get caught up with Boris catalog since I was seeing so much praise around the Boris name. Yep. This is it. This is the best metal album I have ever listened to.

God DAMN. I don't know how to start this review, like, at all. It's been a while since I've had a first listen to an album where my jaw was just on the floor, completely in awe of what I just listened to. Man, I forgot what that felt like. Feels good.

The more I dive deeper into Boris’s music, the more it becomes apparent that the trio, are one of the best makers of music of our time. Their intrinsic style of approaching music, even in the somewhat abrasive form that they occupy, is dealt with the greatest care and intention.
