unsettling. uncomfortable. claustrophobic. these are just a few ways i can describe the purgatory of Modern Jester. this is easily one of the most unique and creative noise records i've heard to date. it incorporates elements from the foundations of noise - tape music, the sampling, the repetition, shit that Merzbow was doing in the 80s, and updates it somewhat for a more modern audience while keeping that classic sound.
