Hus Kingpin follows up 2021's Portishead tribute 'Portishus' with a tribute to the one and only Björk. Once again, the samples used aren't always immediately recognisable and Hus' producers manages to create something genuinely original. I particularly love what they did with 'Pagan Poetry'. pretty good this design. The album from a very underappreciated artist Hus Kingpin is really good material, but I think Hus Kingpin sounds more like the next rapper who copies ideas from griselda, and he is not there as an interesting character, the production is ok, only mastering is more disturbing here, but that's a small flaw . Overall it's a pretty good project that has ambition to it but sounds more like someone other than Hus Kingpin

Hus is quickly becoming one of my favourites. Seeing his appreciation of Björk just makes me respect his craft even more. Good shit.
