Kiln House continues from Mr. Wonderful's concept of doing a 50's sounding boogie woogie / blues record. The entire thing plays through like a weird commercial for the 1950's idyllic life. Kirwan's love of baroque pop and the eastern music that was at the core of psychedelic rock comes through on this much less bluesey set after Peter Green's departure.
