This could have been so much more. These guys ain't consistent at all, it's their biggest problem, they can do amazing songs but they can't do it through the whole record.
The opener "Wishing (If I Had a Photograph of You)" is so good, a pretty unique new wave song and one of the singles of the album, and this good streak continues for the next three songs, then? It falls off.

In this second album, A Flock of Seagulls shows me why they had “only one hit”.
Listen is an album of good intentions, it tries to be evolutionary to its predecessor, but it stops halfway, the duration of the songs works against them by lengthening the moments where there is only music and makes it a bit tedious to listen to it .

eu realmente acho que esse é um upgrade em relação ao primeiro álbum entretanto o fato de não ter uma música ao nível de Space Age Love Song chega a ser triste já é a melhor música deles.
