Accumulating all of the album’s assets together, Regional at Best provides a new basis for the band’s style and tone for future albums in general.
Man this is the wackest bullshit. I can’t even pretend to like anything from this. The autotune... the electronics... the cringe... the vocals... THE CRINGE... the lyrics... oh god the autotune on Trees... mother of god
I think Tree legitimately took 5 years off of my lifespan that shit was actually painful to sit through jesus christ. Like, seriously, how can you put that kind of auto-tune on your voice, listen to it, and think it sounds GOOD? HOW??? Did a deaf person produce this????

6.0/10 (Decent 6.0-6.9)
If Lovely, Car Radio, Ode To Sleep and Trees were in better shape here, we would be dealing with an almost full-fledged twin of Vessel (in terms of cuteness and sound).
my GOD has this album aged so very badly. almost none of this is listenable anymore. clear and lovely are just awful, and trees is so much stronger on vessel, making the RAB version even more dreadful. ruby is a pretty good song though
