I could be wrong about La Havas, but my gut tells me that this young woman will be a force for a very long while.

The Young Folks
Lianne La Havas has everything to be the next big thing in music, it’s just a matter of time until people find out about her talent and are able to connect with her gripping lyrics and soulful melodies.
80
Evening Standard
There’s a dip in quality towards the end – but, by then, you’ll be too smitten to notice.
80
The Irish Times
One reason why La Havas runs rings around her contemporaries and closest rivals is due to the quality of the melodies and the honesty of the lyrics.

The Telegraph

Lianne La Havas's new album Is Your Love Big Enough? is eclectic and sonically adventurous.

The Independent
Not a perfect debut, but one that leaves you with the feeling that we're dealing with a living, thinking artist here, not just another Brit School waxwork.
80
Clash
By releasing a debut with such honesty at its core Lianne will find a nation falling in love with her.
70
Rolling Stone
The lyrics dwell on troubled romance, but the cool, pretty, expertly arranged music washes over you like a healing wave.

Consequence of Sound
La Havas combines the smooth tones of Sade with the light touch of Corinne Bailey Rae, but where she really scores is how she works the emotional power of music.

The Needle Drop
On her full-length debut, UK singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas shows off a great voice, a 6th sense for melody, and a lot of promise.

AllMusic
It's an impressive start to a career that will hopefully last a long time.

The Guardian
This risks sounding catty, but the most appealing thing about Lianne La Havas' debut album is how imperfect it is.

A fantastic collection of songs sweetly sung by the incredible Lianne La Havas. Her voice is amazing it makes so many of these songs great. Best songs are Don't Wake Me Up, Au Cinéma, No Room For Doubt and They Could Be Wrong. Elusive is also one of the greatest covers ever.

Very few debut albums bring the excellence and polish this album brings to the table.

Forget feels slightly off due to the guitar riffs but man does Lianne kill it on this song. Everything else fits pretty well and I feel like her songwriting is really highlighted on this project. Willy Mason is the only feature here but his performance along with Lianne's singing just fit so well. No Room ... read more
