The mixtape stays true to his style. Littered with talks of violence, clarting, shanks and opps, Digga D never strays from his ‘trapper’ alter ego.

Under the circumstances, why would he follow the suggestion to clean up his act? Nothing about Noughty By Nature suggests he needs to, and nothing about it suggests his current success won’t grow.

This is a very good project and will cement Digga D as a force on the pop charts, but if the 21-year-old wants to reach the next level and avoid becoming a pastiche like 50 Cent did, he will need to do more of the unexpected and dig a little deeper into his subconscious when it's time to drop that studio album.

Digga D's new mixtape...is decent.
I hated and still despise his debut album "Made In The Pyrex" for how lazy and tasteless it is, containing some of the most boring and poorly mixed beats in drill, along with some underwhelming raps.
Noughty by Nature however shows Digga actually caring about his sound. Trying out new flavors but still sticking to his drilling shit.
Some tracks do end up being underwhelming but this is far away better than Made In The ... read more
