Best way to describe this album, would probably be messy, and not in a good way. The thing that drags down this project the most is probably it's second part, which consists of really short tracks, that are too short to be even considered full fledged songs. Still it's a somewhat solid project, that is certainly fun to listen to.

I fail to see why this is so much worse than the debut, they sound pretty much equal in quality to me

Honestly, as good as this album is, it feels a little too close to Itekoma Hits tbh. Like, I don't really see what you could get out of this one that Itekoma wouldn't give you, and Itekoma is just a lot more exciting imo. Good album, just not as instantly memorable. Kinda makes me worried that they'll end up being a one trick pony.
That said, if you like this and/or Itekoma, seriously check out Midori. Similar vibes with the hardcore punk and insane japanese woman vocals, but taking a lot more risks throughout their discography.
