One of Gesaffelstein's best by far. Which is crazy when you remember this is from 2010, when Gesaffelstein was still developing his signature dark techno sound. While I think his best work is definitely "Conspiracy Pt. 2", this is likely the runner-up. "Variations" and "Selected Faces" are definitely my favorite tracks. I guess this is what Fantano means with NOT BAD. Unimpressive, unremarkable and uninteresting enough for me to call it good but not enough to call it bad either. "So it's mid" no, not really, I somewhat liked it, I guess so it's not good, not bad and not mid at the same time. It's a newly discovered fourth state of music-matter.
