REALLY GOOD

While I'm not the most knowledgeable about jazz, I still enjoy a fair amount of it and this is very good. The electronics definitely merge well with this style of jazz. I'll be checking out other Portico Quarter albums.

As someone who doesn’t listen to a ton of jazz, albums like these really make me feel like I’m missing out on it. This album is atmospheric and it keeps a dark, but calm theme throughout. Pretty much every song on here is solid! I recommend others to try it out.

An absolutely unique and fantastic record. The electronic percussion mixed in with the very organic jazz horns creates a sound that is like no other.

A beautiful, lonely but never melodramatic album by the brittish experimental-jazz group Portico Quartet.
