Though somewhat repetitious, and slightly formulaic in places, on balance Harlow doesn’t rest on his laurels; rising above the noise of his critics and digging deeper, to produce a more cohesive sound, that tentatively strays outside the parameters of contemporary hip-hop.
You’ll find a gem or two here and there, but this collection’s longevity is questionable.
I don't think I can properly express in words how uninteresting Jack Harlow is to people who don't want to fuck him. He spends so much of this album assuming the person he's talking to - presumably the listener? - wants to fuck him. YIKES. I don't know where to start. I wasn't expecting much, this is bad though. First off, these beats are boring. Jack sounds bored, but the beats were baren. There needed to be more noise on this record. Jack's primary audience probably wants this to be more energetic.
