'Gimme Fiction' continues the band's winning streak at the start of the new decade and is a third similar album (in terms of style but also quality) in the space of just four years.

As ever with Spoon releases there are only slight changes and just the few new ingredients sprinkled here and there; this time you have the funky rhythm of 'I Turn My Camera On' and the thunking piano chords of 'Merchants of Soul' but generally it's business as usual.

"Gimme Fiction" is yet another noteworthy release in their discography, focusing a lot more on slower tempos and introspective lyrics this time around. The results are still as fun and well-written as ever, despite the latter half not being as wondrous as the first.

This an amazing release. This album has so much flavor and diversity do it, I can't help but give it a great score. As much as I want to give this album a 100, the last song isn't there for me but I'll get to that. I love this album. I grew up with it, and I've never stopped listening to it. I's so consistently good, that your ears will cry form the amount of good music that is flowing into them.
