This is like Born To Die's younger brother that acts just like her, but isn't getting noticed, so he just gave up, and now is hiding in the woods, The Lana Stan Woods. Only Lana stans and her 6 studio albums live over there, they all live in harmony. Then comes Paradise. At least here those tacky production choices present in Lana's other early projects dont make an appearance. Though I'm not sure there are many production choices of noteability at all on this one. Not to say the arrangements dont have smooth and uplifting qualities, they do. But for better or worse there aren't really any sounds that jump out. Her vocals, as per usual, are what hold this project together.
