Lean continues to be capable of both striking highlights and lackluster lulls on this latest tape.
I feel bad. He clearly is trying to do something here, but it’s just not good. The awful moaning is frustratingly bad. The lyrics are completely terrible on this project. The filler here is unbearable. The occasional highlight is not even close to enough to drag this projects from the gutter of mediocrity, and disappointment
I've been warming up to Yung Lean for about a year or so, his last album 'Starz' was the most impressed I had ever been with his music and since 'Trip' came out as a single I was pretty hyped to hear 'Stardust', but to be honest it really only peaks with 'Trip' and thereafter it just becomes a bit of a boring slog to get through. its insane how Bliss is just eons better than anything else on the record. I mean Trip and Summertime Blood are good too, but Bliss clears
