A few shapeless features and hooks aside, Alpha place is a solid offering by one of UK's most prolific emcees. Knucks makes it easy to absorb his hood chronicles as he spreads his rhymes over a blend of lowkey jazz-infused drill beats.

Very late to this. Was in my listen soon list for a while. It’s good stuff with movie references in abundance and an array of nice features that work well with the more chilled drill style going throughout the record. Lovely stuff.
feels like a collection of good to great songs rather than a storyline.
there’s a couple tracks that link up pretty nicely but generally this project is held together by some smooth flows & fantastic production.
Knucks is that one artist that belongs specifically in a playlist. There are some great songs on here, but as a project, it's really one dimensional and that doesn't exactly play in the album's favour.
EDIT: 60 -> 70 Grows on me every listen, dammit.
