Listening to "You're Dreaming" is beautifully nostalgic, whether or not you've lived through their musical touchstones from the 50s and 60s. There's a lot of talk of sister harmonies in country and folk music, but the brothers of the Cactus Blossoms show that the discussion should extend to all siblings. Absolutely delightful. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Classic country songwriting, invigorated with faithful and fresh modern production. The harmonies are lovely, the melodies timeless, and the writing embodies both the old dry, cutting outlaw wit as well as a new dreamy Western poetry. 100% recommend this.
