A must-listen-to album for me, on the sole basis that I don't think I've heard a producer's album sound this dangerous before or since Beauty and the Beat. Listen to Rock and Roll and you'll immediately be punched in the face by its flavor. (the rapping mostly kinda sucks though, but don't tell anyone)

If you ever wondered what psychadelic rock mixed with hip hop sounds like, check this album out. Although the production on this is awesome, Edan also brings some dope lyrics.

For example, on the track Fumbling Over Words That Rhyme, Edan gives us a hip hop history session naming some of the most influential hip hop artists/emcees like Rakim, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap and much more. Ahead of its time great experimental beats and superb lyrics. Can see where death grips got some of there influence from with this.
This album is perfect. The production is so unique for a hip hop album, and it’s honestly the closest thing to psychedelic rap. Edan is a mastermind with his production and his lyrics are top tier as well. I wouldn’t change anything about this album at all, this is a real hidden gem.
