Nothing new, it's just typical generic pop metalcore but the vocals are good.
Favorites: The Black and Sleepwalk.... oh I Won't Give In.
Denis is a great vocalists tremendous singer and i honestly think he filled Danny's shoes quite well but i still think Danny is just Asking Alexandria and his screams and singing could never be matched, the album on the other hand is okay but felt too generic and nothing to deliver upon

Favorite Tracks: The Black, Sometimes It Ends
Danny is an irreplaceably talented vocalist, but Denis has come in doing a fantastic job. There's some sweet clean cuts like "here I am" and some intense moments I've missed from the band on the title track and "let it sleep". There's some cringe here and there, particularly in the lyrics and delivery but they're few and far between. I'd still say this is my favorite Asking Alexandria album to date.

Favorite song: let it sleep

Least favorite: The lost souls
To be honest, I hate this type of music (pretty generic and too similar to other groups).
I was surprised because it isn't really bad. I found the matching vocals pretty interesting and some riffs are great.

The problem with the Black is similar to a lot of some actual metal's albums : The lyrics aren't very developped and too focused on overused themes, the album is too homogeneus and a little predictable, there is any huge new things.
a change in vocalist hasn't made this band better
