I got a thing for Canadians. Produced by Isaac Brock, which makes sense. This thing comes out on fire, those first 4 songs especially. Modern World has been a long time favorite of mine, that is a 100 song. Spencer Krug (see also Sunset Rubdown) is the real star here though. Both Krug and Dan Boeckner (Divine Fits, Handsome Furs) pack this with fantastic songs. Special album!

I once typed up what would've possibly been my best review on this site and didn't save it. Thinking I could never recreate it (maybe one day), I just have kind of left this blank the whole time. I just want to say that with Wolf Parade about to release a new album with some promising singles, to give this a listen if you never have. Easily one of the greatest indie rock albums of the millennium and probably in my personal top 30 of all time.
Damn! A bomb dropped. The perfect image of middle of 2000's. More than just experimental post punk. Is a gift from loneliness. The ambient noise only does that you feel lost and in a indescriptible peace.
