The horse is still sparkling

Holy fucking shit. This is one of the most tragically beautiful endings to one of the most understated indie artists of the 90s and 2000s. This hit me in the feels so much. Sparklehorse is an artist that I’ve been following for awhile, and hearing his full discography has been an absolute pleasure, with Its a Wonderful Life having some of my favorite songs ever on it. Sparklehorse was extremely consistent and other than the Danger Mouse album I have not listened to yet, hasn't put out any weak releases. This album seems to be a little bit more straightforward than previous albums but still features a melancholy and personal touch that runs through all of Mark's music.
