#6 – Albums that taught me when I was a kid

“ The flowers of evil, you left at my door, Set ‘em in a broken glass, and tested my own blood” – Gasoline Horseys (and a reference to Baudelaire's " Fleurs du mal”)

Nearly 50 minutes of sweet, melancholic indie rock which helped create the blueprint that the thousands of "aspiring indie bands" attempt to imitate. honestly a big inspiration to me and my music. This album is heartbreaking and chocked full of emotional lyrics, awesome low-key guitar playing and an all around unconventional mood. This project gives off the biggest vibe of "hopelessness". The lyrics are even more heartbreaking after Mark's untimely death due to suicide. An absolute gem of an album <3
