The person who made this was FIFTEEN when this was recorded. How the hell.

This album is fantastic. It honestly feels like a modern classic. I’m a bit surprised that one, this isn’t a crazy well known album, and two, that the user score isn’t higher. The most impressive thing about Salvia Palth's "melanchole" is that Daniel Johaan, the person behind the monicker, was FIFTEEN YEARS OLD when this dropped. So, right off the bat, I gotta say, I really respect this project. If anyone's fifteen and dropping music of this quality, then they instantly become a one to watch, which in this case is a shame considering the Salvia Palth name never went anywhere after this. In every sense this is a very standard bandcamp-core lo-fi album which has pretty vocals, nice soft guitars and a pretty melancholy sound, but what makes it truly stand out is that it presents a uniquely dreamy, ethereal, yet also lonely atmosphere, while still keeping the rawness which comes from these albums.
