Hello, Hi is a jovial record. Love, adventure, honesty, creation, and more can be found within its run time. Ty Segall’s versatility and musicianship is second to none.

Another success from a man who has an output like a fire house that never seems to turn off. His next offering is bound to be something completely different. But this is a good diary of love in a pretty trying time.

Releasing Melted in 2010, Ty Segall has been one of the best arguments against the lie that rock & roll is dead, and "Hello, Hi" reveals that even when he's playing quiet so as not to wake the neighbors, he's still keeping it alive, and if you need some music for a quiet morning, this will ease you into the day quite nicely.

Segall eases you with his unique charm, but he also tricks you, subtly cranking things up to remind you of his frenzied output. The tone remains largely indistinct throughout, but it also feels like he's begun concocting his next witches' brew.

Even if some songs lack some substance or just sound kinda dissonant/weird, I like to listen to music that sounds this genuine.
I like the guitar riffs. Apparently this is one of his ''worst'' projects and I that makes me curious enough to listen to more of his stuff, and I'll, I'll search for the good good stuff. Anyway, I enjoyed this, I like this man's musical personality, would be friends with him.
The guitar work is nice on here, there's some cool moments, but overall pretty boring.
