Drowned in Sound
One thing’s for sure: Falco shall remain a hero to all of us who need absurdity to survive, to fight back against the mundane forces that grind us down and shut off pathways in our brains. I stand firm by my flag.
Consequence of Sound

If any of that sounds too weird, mean, or challenging in its comedy for the average listener to swallow, well, it probably is. But Falkous and his mates also keep the musicality lean, groovy, and (mostly) accessible throughout Peace & Truce.

Drops the ball a bit compared with their other albums, not helped by the overly murky production. Still some great stuff to be found here.
Worth a listen
Je découvre ce groupe avec ce qui semble être leur 8ème album. D'accord. Mon radar déconne ou quoi ? En tout cas Future Of The Left me rappelle furieusement Rye Coalition ou Shellac. Ce disque offre un panel de morceaux et de styles assez large, tout en restant bien cohérent.
The relationship between the guitars and the singer make this album unique.
