"Where Did the Night Fall" marks a drastic and needed shift in Unkle's sound, from a trip hop band they turned into an Electronic band. They don't sound underwhelming anymore, without the hip-hop beats that didn't worked since DJ Shadow left the band. With more electronic aspects, this album sounds modern and fresh, and despite that "Where Did the Night Fall" is their best album in years, still remains unnoticed.
