American Songwriter

Not only is this a treat for longtime fans, but hopefully a sign for others to take Harper’s lead, creating relevant, incisive songs that are lyrically, musically and philosophically as inspirational and provocative as those here.

AllMusic

When he's backed by the Innocent Criminals, Harper never seems to be trying too hard, and that's why Call It What It Is is a cut above many of his records.

The thing about Harper and his projects is that when he does something good it always becomes something awsome, like the song that gives his new work its title. We appreciate if he continues to be what he is but with less laziness when it´s about to reinvent himself.

Su mejor disco en muchos años. Suena maduro, añejo... suena a ellos, por fin.
