Give or Take is corny and sleepy. I can't take Giveon's flirtatiousness seriously. His beautiful voice doesn't hide the fact that the songs are boring and bland. The only remarkable thing about this album is that Giveon doesn't swear a single time which is pretty crazy imo

Honestly kinda mid. This album is alright, and Giveon does his thing working comfortably with his amazing vocals and his average or alright production that works for the storytelling of relatable heartbreak, struggle to move on, and everything that he wants being just slightly out of reach as he and his partner just can’t seem to fall on the same page. Another great Giveon album. His voice is so good everytime.
I was pretty worried coming into this with how genericly poppy the singles had sounded but this turned out pretty good. Giveon underwhelms a bit at times with the amount of energy he provides on certain songs for sure still, and this is not anywhere near the level of TAKE TIME overall or in individual quality of tracks. Pretty solid in the end though, especially liked Another Heartbreak and Make You Mine.
