Kerrang!
It all makes for a record which never really sags – an impressive feat for a mixtape of 17 songs, none of which are interludes – and instead engages the listener throughout, with a constant stream of fresh ideas thrown into the pot.

Pitchfork

Rico Nasty’s latest project skews wider and weirder, even for her. Combining patented rage raps and tender singing, its variety is overwhelming in every sense of the word.

The Line of Best Fit

Las Ruinas spotlights Rico navigating a broader emotional and stylistic range than she did on her debut, while also displaying finer attunement to the details of songcraft, production, and performance.

NME
The Maryland rapper and singer's latest release gets off to a strong start, but ultimately fades over its prolonged runtime.

The Needle Drop
Rico's new tape has just a few spots that stand out for the right reasons.

For the first half it is an exciting site to see. Then Rico fills the second half with pop experiments that feels like a complete drag to sit through

First half is pretty fun, second half is really boring.

And it hammers those edges with every shuddering pitch shift, creaking breakdown, wild shift in production quality, and clunky feature, spanning Marshmello’s buzzed-out mix of ‘Watch Your Man’ to every frustrating ... read more
