New wave goodness. Pretty repetitive, but catchy enough to be great. I should be more into Gorillaz.
Damon manages to remain front and center on the track while still highlighting Thundercat and playing to his strengths - somehow perfectly sounding like what you'd imagine a collaboration between the Gorillaz and Thundercat to sound like. The best Damon's vocals have sounded since Sleeping Powder.
Thundercat goes hard but the song feels like a half-baked Plastic Beach cut. Not huge on Damon's vocal melodies at all.
Idk man it sounds like a forgettable humanz or song machine leftover. Not one of their best tracks.
It’s okay. Kinda funky but nothing special. I wonder if this is part of Song machine season 2 or smth else.
