One of the most riotously creative albums I've ever heard. And to think this was recorded in lead bandmember Ian Parton's house as the only band member at the time -- he in fact recruited the rest of the band when a festival asked him to play as he had no band at the time!

thunder, lightning, strike is probably one of the most uplifting albums i've heard in a long time, and it's super refreshing to listen to, even through its dense noise and daring callbacks to its influences. although i'd call most songs on here highlights, perhaps the best is "huddle formation."
