You know, this is - excuse me - a damn fine album. I've listened to I can't tell you how many albums in my life and this, this is one of the best. Now I'd like two eggs over hard. I know, don't tell me, it's hard on the arteries, but old habits die hard, just about as hard as I want those eggs.

I still love this, just not as much as I did.
For someone who's never watched or even heard anything from "Twin Peaks", I can wholeheartedly say that this record is fucking phenomenal.

Coming into this album, I thought it would be just another haunting Xiu Xiu album. Oh, how wrong I was...
With most of the songs being instrumental, it still tells and expresses such strong feelings without singing, or speaking any word at all.
The guitar solos, the drums, just everything!!
And as for the outro... the haunting, beyond terrifying, visceral, "Josie's Past"... Shayna plays that girls' voice so well, it is so terrifying I don't think I can sleep tonight. The talk about ... read more
