Black Midi has some competition πŸ‘€
Edit: Why did he bark at me??? 😭

After Certified Lover Boy, it’s obvious that this record will receive major hate no matter what. Many people claim that Drake has been making the same type of music since Views, but no one has that unique sound that Drake brings to the table. Although this record doesn’t sound iconic, it has a charm. Hear me out.

Despite the track Currents, which is absolutely hilarious, Drake’s production always sounds ... read more

Dear Drake,

Please, for the love of god, make better music. I'm sick and tired of these INCREDIBLY wealthy artists who waste their time with awful music when they could easily put their time and money towards a better project with better production, songwriting, lyricism, etc. I believe Drake does have a bit of talent that simply hasn't been tapped into yet due to the lack of passion for the art. Maybe this is what Drake wants to achieve, who knows, but from an outsider? Everything this man ... read more

Actual Review:

Dusk FM

Drake tries to copy most of what The Weeknd did on Dawn FM, but with significantly lesser results. Everything on this album is fucking embarrassing, from the awful production to Drakes lifeless flows and terrible singing. At least with CLB (despite being a terrible album too), at least ... read more

This is most definitely one of the dance albums of all time

Will go crazy in your local mall

In terms of effort this might be Drizzy's laziest release and most of his albums are lazy. BUT we see Drake finally focusing on one sound making "Honestly, Nevermind" feel like an actual album. The record has a great summer atmosphere that although not consistent can sometimes be great. Songs like "A Keeper", "Overdrive" and especially "Tie That Binds" are ... read more

Favourite: Jimmy Cooks
Worst: Liability

1. Intro - [Not Included]

2. Falling Back - 1
[Wtf are those vocals are my guy, I can't get over how bad it is just wow. As an opening track, this is pretty god damn awful. I mean the vocals, and production work isn't too bad, lyrics are just all terrible and how the heck did this last 4mins]

3. Texts Go Green - 3
[This production work isn't too bad at the beginning, but at times with the mixing of the vocals I mean it's really just incredible that ... read more

'HONESTLY, NEVERMIND' is the surprise 7th album from Drake and if there's anything major that could be taken away from it, it's how impressive that he just gets worse and worse with every album he drops. Drake hasn't dropped anything that wasn't boring filler for years now, some of the lowest points of that filler being the utterly mediocre 'Scorpion' and 'Certified Lover Boy', after all that shit I thought "surely he can't get any worse than this?", well I was wrong because ... read more

"Wow Drake released another album, really this guy doesn't give up"

*checks rating*

"Hhh why am I not surprised another Drake album that is probably terrible at least judging by the way people are talking about it Ima just go listen to Logic's album first then come back to this album"

"Wait just 14 tracks? It's actually not bloated like his previous releases! Damn then this album must be the worst or most boring Drake album ever ... read more

Drake, wtf is this. Bro really heard Dawn FM and said "this is great, let’s bite it"

Why can’t Drake actually try to make music again like he did during the NWTS, IYRTITL days. He realized that he could make a hit regardless of whether a song is good or not, and that was when his music started to get worse. Idk what he did with the old Drake, but hopefully it comes back soon.

At least the album ends on a good track with Jimmy Cooks. That transition into 21's verse was ... read more

GTA Ballad Of Gay Tony type beats. Man ran out of trends to dickride so he looked through some of his previous personal career highlights in culture vulture-ism and highlighted them all in a vibey, bouncy, dance-y package. The sort of album that makes Certified Lover Boy look consistent and equally enjoyable. So droll and unimaginative, presented in the most sterile, inoffensive packaging possible. Play it if you're trying to entertain your successful, work-focused friends so they'll have a ... read more

hahahaha retire. somehow, someway, this is worse than CLB. where does drake go from here? he's gone from spitting lazy bars over half-baked beats to crooning over whatever watered-down sample his producers decide to pick out and slow down. if drake wasn't trying on CLB, he's anti-trying here. his voice sounds even AI-generated at times. the production is incredibly uninspired (and at times vomit-inducing), and does nothing to help save what is basically a ghost performance by champagne papi. he ... read more

Come on Drake, you can at least try a little bit. The empty sound and boring house beats add up to make one of the most agonizingly boring albums I've heard. There's nearly nothing that kept my interest during this. I will give it this, though; the beats are good... sometimes. Most of the time they're just really sleepy though and sound like there's not a lot of work put into them, and putting Drake over them just makes it worse. This was not a fun listening experience at all.

'Honestly, Nevermind' is Drake's seventh studio album, coming less than a year after the messy 'CLB' where he tried to play a toxic character but gave up, coming back with a twist this time around, turning away from the trap sound for something totally unexpected, not just being a elevator dance album as many are describing it but a sign that Drake cares about his music still as he came out with something creative but didn't give enough room between to breathe between 'CLB' and this which is ... read more

Drake is honestly a poet—he really speaks to my soul. Honestly, Nevermind can only be enjoyed in any way, shape, or form as background music. The album title tells you everything you need to know, it pretty much sums it up. Honestly, Nevermind has absolutely no variety whatsoever and it's an incredibly lazy and bland album.

Drake's new album is better than its predecessor "Certified Lover Boy", but that doesn't mean it's a compliment.

Being simple and straightforward, my main problem with "Honestly, Nevermind" is simply the lack of connection between the production and Drake's vocals, which manages to ruin more than half of the songs. None of Drake's vocal performances can convince or have the slightest charisma, showing most of the time that he isn't even trying.

The production of the album ... read more

Ight that’s it. That’s the final straw. I tried with scorpion. I tried with demo tapes. I tried with CLB. But that’s it. Drake has fallen of in music quality. YOURE NOT THE WEEKND BRO.
