Overall… it’s fine. Beautiful instrumental moments, boundary pushing ideas. Vocals are underwhelming as usual, songwriting’s pretty weak. My biggest problem is the album’s lack of cohesion - it’s a mess of influences that fail to coalesce into anything gratifying. However, it’s an improvement over To See the Next Part of the Dream and I could see him getting better.
