glad to see fantano puting this on best tracks
14h
I get her vision and she's absolutely right
2d
This does not sample show me love, and even if it did, it is completely different melodically and harmonically
2d
it's literally Lady Gaga Sour Candy but worse
2d
I love how this song have so many different opinions
3d
grower tbh
4d
a little too minimal for me tbh
4d
i like the song just fine
4d
This is kind of growing on me tbh, still dont think its fantastic, but kinda good.
4d
Drake is so influential 🤭🤞
4d
The vocal performance is great, and has some good guitar work, But other than that meh.
5d
yeah this obviously will be the worst track on the album period
5d
I wish the guitar part was longer
5d
My soul is broken
6d
chromatica > renaissance
6d
you used to know me now you dont
6d
oh no
6d
yes because beyonce made the song after seeing drake's success with house music in like a few days. still interesting seeing big names try house
6d
Lmao Have you been waiting for this for 6 years?
6d
Pitchfork comparing this to Used to Know me, pleeeaseeeee, at least Beyonce did something to modify the Show Me Love sample and make it her own, Charli literally just sang over an updated version of the original instrumental.
6d
Pretty good
6d
you guys better stop dissing house music as a whole rn >:(
6d
why are so many people trying to make house a thing again?
6d
So basically only Kanye can make good pop house rn?
6d
her voice is good with house but i rly hope she actually does garage tracks on the album
6d
this does nothing new but its not bad
6d
someone posted a mashup of this and sour candy on twitter and it sounds 10x better lol
6d
Even The Guardian doesn’t like it ahahaha
6d
it’s good 😊 👍 😌 👍
6d
in b4 beyhive retroactively cancels chromatica bc actually only black people are allowed to do house music
6d
i dont understand the poor ratings on this, i fully expected to see an 80+ lol
6d
RAIN ON ME RAIN RAIN RAIN ON ME

And I hardly think that "BREAK MY SOUL" will achieve a great success, as it is being predicted by the international news channels.
The mainstream pop music is being completely based on the recent virals of TikTok (who, overall, are generic trap pop/punk music), and the disco/dance music revival ended a year ago, so the chances of Beyoncé's new single are very low, I think.
6d
It’s like a low-down version of "Show Me Love" by Beyoncé.
6d
I think what bothers so much here is not the fact that it is a generic 80s dance/house song, and yes the overly strong presence of the sample of "Show Me Love", which completely dominates the whole track, without giving space to the construction of a more original or modern sound by Beyoncé.

idk if its because of the mixing or something but that korg organ riff is annoying as hell
1w
idk i fee like I've heard this exact same song like 5 times in the las year and a half, i still have hope for what she might do with this sound in the rest of the album
1w
i want your stupid love-love
1w
something fun something for the summer time something for the girls to get ready and party to
1w
her chromatica era?
1w
ITS A BOP
1w
i don’t expect everyone to like this because house music is a bit derivative but i think once you really give it a few more listens it grows on you.
1w
So many years just to make a deep house instrumental with generic lyrics. Drake 2.0
1w
it’s… painfully alright
1w
i like it but that instrumental....yikes its generic
1w
big freedia
