It's really plain and run-of-the-mill synth pop, there's some moments that are exciting but even the best songs never cross from being good into being great. I know the lyricism isn't the highlight of the album, but they are quite awful most of the time. Especially on the clumsy and embarrassing On and On, which awkwardly sings tired lyrics about "the algorithm", and while it seems to try to be making a statement, it really says nothing at all that hasn't already been said 1000 times ... read more

Bro who is Djo and why is he casually dropping one of the best albums of the year. This Rivers Cuomo doppelgänger has managed to create one of the most consistent albums I think I've ever listened to. Seriously, this man looks and sounds so much like Rivers Cuomo it's wild. It's like if Weezer made a Psychedelic Pop album and honestly, it makes me love the album even more. There is not a single dull moment on this entire album. Just the overall vibe I get from this album is really ... read more

Production is really amazing, fun vocals/flows. Overall songs on the cheesy side but it's a fun listen.

Wow the production on this project is amazing in both sound quality and composition. Many of the songs on this album are a complete vibe and completely engross you in the music. A couple of the tracks kind of fade into the background of your mind but honestly even then, those tracks still sound good. I like the themes of the ways we interact with each other, the internet, and our love interests.

Damn the Stranger Things dude knows how to make some bangers

Going into this I honestly had no clue what to expect, but damnnn there is some good shit on this record. There’s a lot to like here, and I think this sort of style just sits right with me. First thing I want to mention is the production because holy mother of fuck it’s good. Like BRUh. There’s so much creativity with how everything is mixed, and it feels super consistent throughout the whole record. Second, the ... read more

Everything works magnificently in this album's favor. Djo manages to take a twist on the neo-soul psychedelic trend recently and make it extremely enjoyable and fun in his own style. One of my favorite pop/neo-soul records this year.

God damn is this a good album. After listening to Twenty-Twenty a few months ago, I was pretty excited for this upcoming project, but I truly wasn’t expecting to love DECIDE as much as I do. The groovy synths, those stellar baselines, and the vocals are all gorgeous. This album is beautifully produced from front to back and it’s been on repeat since the day it dropped. Absolutely amazing album from Djo, and bound to be one of my favorites of the year!
