Some stretches of the album may be a little too sleepy and subdued, with songs bleeding together in a hypnotic haze. Nonetheless, refreshingly void of aggression or any deliberate tension, Cloud Nine comforts with its positivity and charm.

Rolling Stone

His debut album, Cloud Nine, is naturally very same-y – deep house wasting away in Margaritaville – but unfailingly gorgeous.

The Line of Best Fit

Cloud Nine is far from a perfect album, but in an era when so many superstar DJs and producers can seem divorced from the actual songwriting aspect of music Kygo does deserve praise. He’s still figuring out the transition out of his remix artist phase, but enough works on his debut to show that there’s hope for the future.

The Guardian
Well, this is pop, where cliche can be transcendent, but these joyless songs are chemically castrated of any passion or sexuality.
Pile of poo
O debut do Dj Noruegues é excepicional algo nunca visto antes as melodias soam como uma taça de vinho se uva de primeira qualidade surpreendente bom
The Norwegian producer has finally made it to his debut but he has forgotten the necessary fuel that would launch him to cloud nine instead of a beach bar.
Your the very best
Holy shit is Raging a great song. Also Firestone and Stole The Show. Oasis is aight. And then there’s everything else. So polarizing that it hurts.
