One of the best grunge albums, every song hits.
Stone Temple Pilots - Core
Well folks, not sure where to start with this one. It was never my favourite piece of theirs until, I'd say, around the last year and a half or so. As debut albums go, this is a very good one. The songs are tight, punchy and aggressive. The mood seems somewhat dark and untrusting. There will be no sophomore jinx for this band, they will rise to the top but like many who have come before them that rise will have a devastating fall.

Stand out tracks to my ears: You pick em'. Great straight across the board.
