I was extremely surprised by this amazing record. Based on all the user and critic scores, I wasn't expecting to hear something nearly this good until I got to their album "Meddle" but it came early for me. I love the sound and the feeling of this album so much, especially during the first song, that I found it difficult to get the smile off of my face. I became so immersed in this record that I almost fell out of my chair when someone walked into my room.

"Atom Heart Mother" is a well-constructed, beautifully produced Pink Floyd album that would’ve been one of my favorites if it weren't for "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast". It's literally 13 minutes of Alan Styles preparing and eating a breakfast I wish I could have. At least it invented ASMR decades before ASMR was even a thing.

I didn't really care for this upon my first listen, but it has really grown on me. I think this would be higher on my Pink Floyd list if it weren't for Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast, I'm not a big fan of that track. The title track is magnificent and suspenseful, my kind of Pink Floyd. Summer '68 is also extremely underrated, such a beautiful song.
