Mellow yet bittersweet.

To me, Alison Sudol's "Still Come The Night" chronologically depicts a love story that eventually comes to an end. I was a bit afraid that the record would stick to only one type of lyrical content because the first songs are really similar in their wording and themes. Recommended Listening : Come On Baby

It’s been a good few years since I listened to Alison Sudol, mostly under her old moniker A Fine Frenzy. With past albums such as 2012’s Pines which has to be one of my ultimate favourite albums to play over autumn, and 2009’s Bomb In A Birdcage which is a very fun and enjoyable record, I’ve been really excited to hear this new journey of hers outside her usual acting job and under her own name.
