David Bowie's final 2000s release is kind of a mixed bag for me. I thought that overall it was a decent album, but this really could have been one of his best releases to date but was ruined by a few poor decisions.

So, when this started I was having a good time with. It wasn't anything particularly special, but all of the beginning tracks were just so catchy and lovable, and the writing is - as usual with Bowie - really good. New Killer Star, Pablo Picasso and Never Get Old were all really ... read more

Following Bowie's previous album Heathen in 2002, Bowie released Reality, an album sort of in the same vain as Heathen. The sound is relatively the same (despite this one sounding a bit dated) and they were released one year apart from each other. Since Heathen was really good, this must live up to that, right?
