This album... what in the actual fuck was that?

This is one of those albums that I think words can't do justice on explaining why it's great. There's just so much here that this is a record that you really need to hear in order to understand why it is known as being as great as it is. That completely caught me off guard, i wasn't expecting a album so unique and strange from that era, underrated and overlooked gem (holy shit i increased the user score from 80 to 81)

if I’m rating this just on the original 10 tracks & not the bulky reissue then yeah it’s an incredible psyched out sonic landscape that kind of reminds me of the soundtrack to a dream. there’s something so familiar about it like the parallels to the zombies, or beach boys, & some Jefferson airplane but also the intricate sampling of random effects adds something quite unique. structure of the songs isn’t like groundbreaking but sick production. the stretch from ... read more
