Introduces a new genre: Minimal Dancehall. But I see how this isn't for everyone & some songs sound similar to one another.
Favorites: Club Aso, Sino, Lifted, Paigon, Comeragh Mountains, Sip
It's an interesting and refreshing approach to a genre usually associated with the main stage. To tone down production and percussion, instead of upping the ante, surprisingly pays off here.
Minimalist dancehall. It is a good first effort, but honestly some of the lyrics are clunky. The attention brought to combining both harmonies and melodies is something I wish more artists would explore. There is a lot to appreciate here and I cannot help but think that the next album will be a classic.
