For somebody who's only heard the most basic forms of country music in his lifetime, this completely blew my expectations out the window. The instrumentation is absolutely gorgeous. The guitars legit send me to heaven at some points. Jason Molina's vocals are just beautiful. I don't really have any problems with this thing, it's just amazing through and through.

This album defies everything my taste has taught me...it's full of Country, Folk Rock and Blues- genres i usually just can't get into and then it just comes out absolutely beatiful. This is one of those albums that just make me go "god i love music", we all know these kinds of albums and we all know that that feeling is the best.

The opening track Farewell Transmission is a contender for my favorite song of all time. Molina’s ... read more
