Technical thrash metal, progressive metal, technical death metal... call it what you will, this album is nothing short of complex, technical, philosophical and existential greatness. Athiest's sophomore album, Unquestionable Presence sees the band expand everything they have built upon on they're debut with a more focus on progression and jazz which gives the album a slight edge for me,as their is more to indulge and experience within the album and standing at just over half an hour and with so much depth and complexity gives this record so much replay-ability.

Kind of an overrated pick from people, but I do see why metalheads become crazy when mentioning this record. Mother Man is god-tier progressive metal and bass playing.
