these classic darkthrone album covers fucking suck lol
I just find Under A Funeral Moon less consistent and overall less gripping as its predecessor, A Blaze in the Northern Sky but it still up their as one of Darkthrone's best releases and great body of Black Metal with some standout tracks like the Self-titled and To Walk the Infernal Fields

Track Review

Natassja in Eternal Sleep 8/10
Summer of the Diabolical Holocaust 7.5/10.
The Dance of Eternal Shadows 8.5/10..
Unholy Black Metal 9/10
To Walk the INfernal Fields 9/10

insane album! The production is so rough as black metal should sound
This follow-up to Blaze in the Northern Sky didn’t quite grab hold of me as well, but it’s still a fairly worthy successor. There are several tracks on here that blew me away much like Blaze, even if Funeral Moon is a tad bit more repetitive in structure.

highlights: UNHOLY BLACK METAL, summer of the diabolical holocaust, to walk the infernal fields, crossing the triangle of flames

lowlight: natassja in eternal sleep
