The first two seconds of the opening track sounded like a fast-paced rock record, not a death metal one lmao. So I started Cryptopsy with their second album, None So Vile, and then decided to come back to this due to how much I enjoyed my listen of it. This is a step down, but not by an insane amount or anything. It was still an insanely hard hitting project, it's just that NSV did it a lot better.
