Another classic death metal record by Morbid Angel, this time is full of explosive and brutal riffs which are seeping out of this 41 minutes of pure omnious aggression. With some great vocal work by David Vincent and the highlight being Trey's guitar, Covenant is fantastic, the interlude before God of Empitness is a little unneeded but for 41 minute record, Morbid Angel packed a lot of punch into it.
