I sometimes forget how much of an emotional connection I have with SOAD's work.
Now onto my tentative :) of an actual review.

This album, feels rather inconsistent in quality, having a handful of bangers and some snoozers or cringe-worthy moments. The production is not the best, specifically the guitar's ´ tones - maybe they were adequate for the time, but they have not aged well. That out of the way, this is System of a Down, this sounds like System of a Down. Serj's vocal delivery is ... read more

Probably the craziest and off the wall record SOAD have ever made, for better or for worse. It's still creative, fun and tightly performed. For a finale, it's one hell of a bang.

Favorite Jams: Soldier Side, Attack, Vicinity of Obscenity

Lest Favorite: She's Like Heroin

Some of the greatest System of a Down songs are on here.
"Dreaming", "Holy Mountains", "Soldier Side"
Even the craziest track on here, "Vicinity of Obsenity" is great.
This was the 2nd hardest record to get into in their discography, but it was worth it, front to back is a really solid experience with some wonderful and powerful moments.

Also, damn I miss SOAD.

That doesn't stop me from adoring ... read more
